Who are we?We're Martin & Kath, we are a happily semi-retired and friendly couple. A retired IT Consultant and an artist, we're both fit and healthy with several years of house sitting experience behind us, looking forward to many more ahead. Kath particularly enjoys the inspiration she gets for her oil painting while spending time in different locations.
Having been happily married for 40 years, we’ve enjoyed bringing up our two children and are now making the most of our time together in a constructive way helping others by looking after their homes, pets & livestock while they're away, just as we’ve always looked after our own over the years. |

As animal lovers, we've always enjoyed the experience of caring for pets & livestock, both our own and other peoples - from dogs & cats to birds, fish poultry, alpacas etc. We now like to put that experience to good use by making sure that that your pets/livestock are as well cared for while you’re away on business or holiday as when you’re at home. We’re both happy to maintain the garden by watering plants etc. if required. Police checks and references from home owners of previous house/pet sits are available. We house-sit primarily because, after spending our working lives running our own separate businesses, house sitting allows us to enjoy working together now we’re semi-retired. It enables us to use the experience we have gained in the important job of house/pet sitting for others. |
We've been proud home owners all our married life and we thoroughly enjoy spending time in different locations while making a difference to other people's lives by letting them travel in the full knowledge that their home and pets are in safe hands.

Maintaining and keeping secure our own homes included several of our properties which we let to holiday-makers from all over the world. Years of experience of caring for dogs, cats, birds (aviary birds/parrots/poultry). We've had a smaller amount of experience (since starting house sitting) with other livestock like sheep, goats, alpacas, horses etc. but we're very keen to learn your routine from you before an assignment and responsible enough put their care uppermost while doing so. We’re both non-smokers and are also confident and experienced drivers with our own vehicle. We’re also happy to email/text updates/photos while you’re away if required. |
